Webinar Recording
January 2026
Practicum
Students are required to attend class and demonstrate ‘beginning and ending’ counselling sessions at least twice, as well as conducting case studies that are recorded. Please do not miss class.
Reflective Practise
Throughout this module it is asked of you that you contemplate your own communication style, strengths and weaknesses and what you default to. Add your insights into your journal with plans on how to change this, maybe through developing tiny habits or bring to the Authentic Communicator project.
There is a Self Evaluation form under Case Studies (Practical) that we would suggest using as your guide, as well as keeping a journal.
Peer Group Case Supervision
Ensuring you have continued support as a counsellor out in the community. Every month we meet as counsellors, graduates and those who want to learn more and go over case studies that we have. This is a very valuable process as ensuring you have support and guidance is part of best practise and essential for professional development hours.
