In a long and fortunate life Barbara has qualified and worked in a variety of arenas – in health care (including in Aboriginal communities), in academia (teaching political philosophy for 25 years at University of Queensland) and for the last seven years in holistic counselling. She currently works as a counsellor in a community organization in Brisbane. Throughout all of these careers Barbara has been devoted to valuing diversity, equality and respect for all.

Publications include book chapters, articles and conference papers
