CHCPRP003: Reflect on and improve own professional practice
Discover the importance of self care, professional and personal reflective practises, the continual need for up-skilling, supervision, duty of care practises, professional development planning and much more as we tune the therapist instrument so you can skilfully support others.
Where to Start
As this module is about self reflection we ask that you purchase a journal or continue with the one you have from the first part of this program. Throughout the counselling program you will have a number of opportunities to add to your journalling including The Work of Byron Katie one month challenge.
Throughout the ‘Tuning the Therapist Instrument’ module add to your journal as you reflect on where you would like to go, some of the insights that came up when conducting your case studies and things you would like to improve, whilst developing a self care plan and a professional development plan. This is part of counsellors ongoing self evaluation essential in staying tuned and clear in practice.
